Pupil Council

Small school logo

We have an established Pupil Council created by class and year elections held before the October break. The Council consists of two representatives (one boy, one girl) from each year group i.e. 12 pupils in total, and is chaired by one of the Sixth Year representatives. Class representatives act as a link between pupils and their Year representatives. PE teacher, J MacPhie, is the staff advisor to the Council.

The Council's purpose is to respond to issues raised by fellow pupils, raise such issues with the Headteacher and receive a response, and to make propsals for the improvement of the school.
